FAQ
We recommend Oliver's travels for children ranging from 5-8, but we leave this to parent discretion as some younger and older children would also benefit from the storytelling method of learning about the U.S. States.
Each month your child will receive a letter from Oliver as he visits a new state. The first letter will include a map with an "Oliver was here" sticker for your child to place onto the first state Oliver visits. This helps incorporate spacial awareness of where states are geographically in the United States, and builds a mental connection with the story telling.
Oliver’s Travels is designed as supplemental homeschool enrichment curriculum.
Yes, your subscription fee covers the postage to your child, as well, includes a return envelope with postage for your child to become familiar with the process of how mail works, reduce efforts on the parent's role so they don't have to go out of their way to find a stamp or go to the post office to buy one (not everyone has stamps on hand nor wants the chore to go buy one).
Yes. Oliver’s Travels is designed as supplemental homeschool enrichment curriculum focused on literacy, geography, and cultural learning.
We have undergone the registration process to be a vendor with ESA and Classwallet direct pay vendor to alleviate financial burdens on homeschooling families. You can also click on the curriculum page to download a free curriculum outline for submission with your purchase. You can find our direct vendor pay listed under Atlas + Ink Learning LLC.
Letters are mailed once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Your child's letter will go out with the next batch of letters if enrollment is at least 5 days before the 3rd Wednesday of the month; otherwise it will begin with the following month's batch.
Please allow 5-7 business days from the date of mailing for your letter to arrive. If your letter still has not arrived after this time, please email us at hello@atlasinklearning.com, while most letters make delivery just fine, the post office isn't perfect. We will make sure we send a replacement letter for your child, just let us know your letter hasn't arrived.
